5 Facts that I already know about the Commonwealth Games:

1	There are 71 Countries competing in the Commonwealth games.
2	Scotland is hosting the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth games.
3	Winners get gold. Second Place gets silver and Third Place gets bronze.
4	400m Sprint and 200m Sprint is a sport that is in the Commonwealth games.
5	Australia & New Zealand are two out of 71 countries that are in the games. They both have net-ball teams.

2	New Zealand is a country that has attended all of the Commonwealth Games.
3	Commonwealth Games were created for athletes to show the world their famous talent in sports.
4	Greg Yelavich (a New Zealander) has won 12 medals in seven games in the sport, shooting.
5	Canada 200 athletes competing in the Commonwealth Games 2014.
6	India has 215 athletes playing different sports in the Games except for netball, rugby sevens and triathlon.
7	Netball is played in the Commonwealth Sports Arena.
8	In 2000 athletes that are 14 - 18 years of age could compete in the Commonwealth Youth Games the CBF created.
9	In 1942 and 1946 there were no Commonwealth Games because of World War II.
10	Originally the Commonwealth Games were called the British Empire Games.
